Anthony Rivero Stabley (Writer - Director) was born in La Paz, Bolivia (the grandson of movie theater
owner Beatriz Rivero) and raised in Argentina, Colombia, and the U.S. After cinema studies at Florida State
University, he moved to Los Angeles and became an art director. He began his career on the Julianne Moore
film "Safe", working with acclaimed director Todd Haynes and independent producer Christine Vachon.
This led to several other films of merit including MGM's visually rich "Stigmata", Takeshi Kitano's "Brother",
and most recently Warner Bros.' "White Oleander", starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Rene Zellweger.

In 2000, using the pen name Antonio Rivero, he directed three digital short films in Mexico City with
Producers Marco Niro and Mariana Kahlo - "La Carta", "This is not a Film", and "Maldita". The following year,
using his same production team, he completed principal photography of the art house feature "Marta's Sex Tape".
He has also written several short stories, poems, and the feature length screenplays - "Quatro", "Telenovela",
and "Las Super Bonitas". Mr. Stabley currently resides in Los Angeles.
